The rapid expansion and use of HIV Rapid Testing, in non-laboratory settings, requires continuous monitoring to ensure quality and accuracy of testing results, through proper training and implementation of innovative quality assurance (QA) activities. Health Links Initiatives (HLI),through support from the Centre of Diseases Control and Prevention (CDC) is implementing activities for HIV rapid test continuous quality improvement (RT-CQI), to ensure quality of HIV rapid testing within health facilities at all levels, to increase access and improve the quality of HIV rapid testing at all tiers of the health system in Tanzania.
